Step 1 - Solar Assessment

Production - Consumption = $avings.   Based on your power needs, our team will design an optimal solar array for your roof that will offset all or most of your power consumption. The average home user consumes anywhere between 7,000-10,000KwH per year. Once your solar array is connected to the grid, you'll be generating clean, efficient electricty year round.

Step 2 - Net Metering Application

Net metering is a program available to all Ontario residents which allows you to subsidize your hydro bill by using solar energy to produce your own electricity year round. In order to become a Net Metering user, you must first complete a Preliminary Consultation Application with your local utility provider. This process allows the utility to confirm whether there is sufficient capacity in your area to support a solar panel installation at your home. Once this process is complete, a Micro Generation Connection Application must be completed in order to receive an "Offer to Connect". Solicasa will take care of all the paper work on your behalf so you do not have to go through the hassle of completing the application. Once we have an offer to connect for your address, we move to the permitting process with your municipality.

Step 3 - Building Permit

In order to install a solar panel array on your roof, a building permit may be required by your local municipality. The process involves assessing the structural stability of your roof and its ability to sustain the additional weight of a solar panel array. The building permit process involves submitting all the required documentation including a structural report by a licensed engineer including any additional technical documentation such as drawings and solar panel specficiations. Our team will prepare the application on your behalf so you don't have to waste your valuable time at the building department

Step 4 - Installation

Once your building application is approved, our team will move fast to install your solar panel array. Since all our services are under one roof, we can have your project initiated as soon as the building permit is approved. You will not have to wait months and some times over a year for your solar panels to be installed. Our expert team has over seven years experience in the industry and will ensure that your project is completed on time and on budget.
